Reaching the desk and what is worth writing about

The Gold Pound Ledger desk reads the named public sources behind every figure and answers corrections at the address below. This page says what to write about, what happens to a correction, and what the desk cannot answer.

Email: editor@goldpoundgh.pages.dev

What the desk does

The desk behind the figures reads the Ghana Gold Board's approved purchase price for the latest window, the LBMA price, and the cedi reference rate, then republishes the per-pound, per-gram, and per-ounce rows with the date and hour each was read. The weight of a pound is not published; it is worked out from the figures. Every source is named under the table, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher.

The desk is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. Responsibility for the measurement sits with the publication's editorial desk, not with any named person. The desk answers corrections and questions about how the measurement is taken, but it cannot act on a reader's behalf or touch a reader's funds.

What is worth writing about

Write if a figure looks wrong: a price that does not match the Ghana Gold Board's published window, a gram or ounce row that does not follow from the LBMA price and cedi reference rate, or a date or hour that seems misread. Write if a source has moved or closed, so the desk can update the link. Write if you have a question about how the measurement is taken, such as the derivation of the pound weight from the published figures.

A correction is the reason the address exists. If a figure is wrong, the desk corrects it and dates the correction on the page. The desk does not publish reader opinions, forecasts, or tips. It does not answer questions about where the price will move or what a reader should do with the information.

What the desk cannot answer

The desk cannot give personal investment advice, cannot help with a broker's account, and cannot offer tips. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. The desk cannot tell a reader whether to buy, sell, or hold gold, and it cannot explain a broker's platform, fees, or account problems.

The desk also cannot answer questions about a broker's own site, which is operated by someone else under its own terms and privacy policy. Following the affiliate link leaves this site. The desk has no access to a reader's account, no login records, and no ability to intervene with a broker on a reader's behalf.

How the desk earns and what it collects

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This affiliate relationship is the desk's only source of income from the site, and it does not affect the figures or the desk's editorial decisions. The desk does not accept payment to alter a figure or to add a source.

The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them. Writing to editor@goldpoundgh.pages.dev reaches the desk.
